Human in the Loop (“we”, “us”) runs AI training and builds AI systems for businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use humanintheloop.co.in, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain on purpose.
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups. When you subscribe to The Loop, we store your email address so we can send you the newsletter and the occasional workshop announcement.
- Workshop and enquiry details. When you register interest in a workshop or ask us to get in touch, we collect the details you give us — typically your name and email — so we can reply and hold your seat.
- Forms.Some of our calls-to-action (booking a call, feedback, alumni sign-up) use Google Forms. Information you enter there is handled by Google under Google’s privacy terms and shared with us.
- Basic usage data. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand which pages are read. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
How we use it
We use the information you give us to:
- send The Loop and workshop updates you asked for;
- respond to enquiries and manage workshop registrations;
- improve our content and offerings.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers that help us run the site and communicate with you — currently our hosting and analytics provider (Vercel), our database provider (Supabase), our email delivery provider (Resend), and Google (for forms). Each processes data on our behalf. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you’re subscribed or in conversation with us, and only as long as we need it for the purposes above. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from The Loop any time using the link at the bottom of every issue.
- Access or deletethe information we hold about you — email us and we’ll take care of it.
